Join BILD on Tuesday, March 17, 2020 to learn about what the Small Business Development Center is doing for the community.
Ellen Kirton, Director of Pima Community College, Small Business Development Center, will speak on her experience with assisting small businesses and startups. Ellen coaches, teachers, and connects businesses with educational resources, as well as capital funding. With 35 years of experience in the banking industry, she is well-versed in business and financial tools and procedures. In addition, Ellen co-owns her own Internet-based human resources company and has a deep understanding of business operations from the owner’s perspective. She is a published author, and has received such accolades as “Woman of Influence” from Inside Tucson Business, has been chosen as “State Star” for Arizona, and a Lifetime Achievement Award by the Minority and Small Business Alliance. Ellen places great importance on helping others in her community and making a difference in the lives of others every day.
